Join Spartanburg’s Way to Wellville Movement!

As you’ve heard before, we’re thrilled that Spartanburg was chosen as one of five communities nationally to develop new and innovative solutions that amplify and accelerate community health. Sponsored by HICCup, the Way to Wellville strives to improve health outcomes in five places through five focus areas in five years. Spartanburg has chosen the five following focus areas: obesity prevention, access to care for the uninsured, health for the insured, kindergarten readiness, and community pride.
The first year of Spartanburg’s Way to Wellville was a great success. We created committees led by fantastic co-chairs for each focus area and made significant strides in our journey that will culminate in year five. As we now look forward to embarking on year two in 2016 and building on existing momentum, we hope you will help us by taking part in a survey through this link and encourage others to do the same by January 15,2016: https://uscuie.co1.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_b1tEICACgf0Vtn7. Your input will help provide baseline data that will inform our efforts moving
We intend for the Way to Wellville to inspire everyone in our community to create changes that lead to better health. We’ve accepted the challenge. Visit www.spartanburgwellville.com for more information and please reach out if you’d like more information on ways to become involved. Join us on our journey to a healthier Spartanburg!
